Janan and Kyle Riley met in New Orleans in 2014. Kyle was in the Marine Corps Band playing the tuba, and Janan was finishing her BS in Psychology at UNO.

The two were married in 2015, and since then have traveled across the country, living in three states, having two children along the way. New Orleans is and always will be “home.”

Kyle focuses on realism and creating lifelike pieces. His portfolio includes a wide array of mediums and commissioned work. He is using acrylic on new pieces and hopes to start building and stretching his own canvases as a new hobby.

Janan is a creative individual. She is currently focused on creating bright and fun pieces that capture the mood of her happy place, New Orleans, where she gets most of her inspiration. She walks around the city every morning and says the city itself guides her on what to create. Janan has become known for her freehanded house sketches and paintings of southern architecture. She is currently working from home, creating art, while mostly on mom duty.

When not doing regular work Kyle can be found working on projects around the house or enjoying Sunday afternoon video games. Janan enjoys full days outside with their children in her time off and can often be found roaming on long walks exploring nature in all of it’s glory. She enjoys dancing, coffee, and trying out new recipes for her family.

The Rileys hope to produce artwork that makes people happy, both creating one of a kind pieces that celebrate the life and vibrant vibe of the city. The couple genuinely would love to give back. They are dedicated to always give a portion of their profits to the youth of New Orleans, specifically the local marching bands and other art programs.

Art can be anything you can imagine.
