Work Horses and Show Ponies Print
There are work horses and then there are show ponies, and I think we can all agree who the work horses of Mardi Gras are.
Every year I donate a piece to the Atlanta Alumni Chapter of St. Augustine to auction off to raise money for the school. Boy do they raise money for the school! This is a fun piece that highlights a lot of what Mardi Gras is to most New Orleanians, just having fun on the parade route and being excited once we see the Marching 100 going by. I am giving to a lot of sizing options as well as canvas prints to choose from for the first time!
The original piece was a 30x40 acrylic on canvas painted by artist Janan Riley
Reworked canvases are embellished by hand with thick medium and acrylic brushstrokes to give a sense of texture and look more like the original piece. Each one is unique and signed by the artist. (Please allow up to 4 weeks for these to be printed, stretched, and reworked by the artist).
Please allow a few weeks for packaging and shipping print orders.
If ordering a canvas print note that shipping will be added to it after ordering and depending on the size can add $100-$200 to the final cost. The canvas prints will not be included in any “free shipping” promotions.
